What you need to know!

We ask that you please arrive 20 minutes before your scheduled appointment. During that time you will be asked to:

Fill out a brief medical history form, discuss with your therapist the goals you would like to accomplish during the session, then 10-15 minutes will be set aside to partake in a sit.

The sit is simply taking a few quiet moments to yourself to begin slowing down the mind and body from the hustle and bustle of the world.  Taking the time to do a sit really enhances the quality and effectiveness of the massage session. It serves a purpose much like warming up and stretching before a run or workout. If we warm up first, our bodies are willing to take us much further...be it with exercise or healing.

Integrative Bodywork

$75/100 per 60/90 Minutes

Integrative bodywork:

Integrative bodywork consists of a combination of several different healing modalities eloquently crafted into a single massage session. Integrative sessions are specifically designed to effectively target the unique and individual needs of each client. The goals the client desires to achieve during the massage greatly influences the type of massage modalities incorporated into the session.  Integrative massage is a type of bodywork that allows more space for the client to become actively involved in the healing process.  There are numerous massage modalities for healing. The beauty of integration is the ability to experience several modalities during a massage and use the key points of each modality to benefit the individual. It is an excellent way to expand outside of basic massage and to begin the process of discovering the type of healing our bodies, minds, and souls are calling out for.  Modalities include, but are not limited to: Deep tissue, Thai, Zen shiatsu, Cranio-sacral, Myo-facial release, and Native American Philosophies.

Deep Tissue Massage

$80/105 per 60/90 Minutes

Deep Tissue Massage is a form of bodywork that aims to relieve tension in the deeper layers of tissue in the body. Deep Tissue Massage is a highly effective method for releasing chronic stress areas due to misalignment, repetitive motions, and past lingering injuries. Due to the nature of the deep tissue work, open communication during the session is crucial to make sure you don't get too uncomfortable. Keep in mind that soreness is pretty common after the treatment, and that plenty of water should be ingested to aid with the flushing and removal of toxins that will have been released from the deep tissue during the session.

Swedish Massage

$65/85 per 60/90 Minutes

Swedish Massage is a very relaxing and therapeutic style of bodywork. It combines oils or lotion with an array of strokes such as rolling, kneading, and percussion to help the body improve its circulation. The benefits of this type of bodywork are wide-ranging and include relief from aches and pains, decreased stress levels in the body, enhanced mental clarity, improved appearance, and greater flexibility.

Energy Work

$75/95 per 60/90 Minutes

Energy work is based on the belief that everyone has a "life force", and that the body needs to sustain its balance for optimum health. Anytime you experience emotional or physical illness, it indicates that your life force has simply become unbalanced.  Work is done directly with your energy field to restore balance and flow to your entire system. And once your energy field has been restored to full health, your body will follow.
