About

Jessica Healy NCTMB, CMT:

After graduating with a B.S. in environmental studies from Slippery Rock University, Jessica began to realize just how disconnected we have become from the natural world. It is apparent that we must first learn to heal ourselves before we can truly embrace and heal the Earth. This realization inspired and led her to pursue the study of massage as a way of grounding back into the roots from where she came.

Jessica studied massage at the Costa Rica School of Massage Therapy ( www.crsmt.com ) where learning took place while being fully immersed in the wonderful healing powers of the rainforests and beaches of Costa Rica.  She has explored several different modalities such as Deep tissue, Zen Shiatsu, Myo-fascial release, and Cranio-sacral therapies, along with currently studying Asian bodywork techniques such as Thai Massage and Acupressure point therapies.

Since 2007 Jessica has held a national certification by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. She also holds a California massage license through the California Massage Therapy Council.

Jessica’s love for the Earth led her to passionately pursue an education in Native American philosophies, healing techniques, and primitive skills alike. She has studied and taught these skills since 2005, as well as having successfully integrated these gifts into her everyday life.

Through her life experiences, Jessica has become passionate about massage and the healing powers of touch. She has discovered that massage is a wonderful way to trigger our body’s innate ability to heal itself - a way of calming the soul so that we may hear more clearly the wisdom of the Earth, which is always speaking to us.
